I must admit, I'm horribly addicted to the Haulover Inlet videos. The stupidity of the participants never ceases to amaze me.

I've wasted HOURS watching the Haulover Inlet channel.

And the Miami Boat Ramp channel.

Pure entertainment at other's expense.

What's particularly disturbing is the Haulover vid at the start where the woman goes over the side, with no life jacket, and the boat not only keeps going, but seems to get on the gas a bit. I don't know if they even knew she went over. Good thing those two jet skis were close by and saw her in the water. Of course, she seemed more interested in getting her cell phone to safety than her body, but that's on her. :x

To a young girl a cellphone is their whole world filled with irreplaceable photos, texts, contacts, thoughts…… Loosing it would be devastating 🥺😣😢😩… This is the generation that has not known of a world without a personal cell phone for the most part…. Having two daughters I speak from experiences

Me on the other hand remember rural party lines, clicking to get an operator, braided black cotton cords, even rotary dial pedestal “trumpet” phones… Carrying a dime in your shoe for an emergency call… in area code vs. out of area code call charges and the dreaded long distance or worse….the “collect” call :o :| :?

Wall phones with extra long curly-q wires, a conference call was picking up the extension, busy signals and leaving a message meant someone writing it down…🤪😜🤪

Dick Tracy and his impossible wrist radio phone with video! The stuff of fantasy!!!

Oops, pardon me, I have an incoming zoom conference call on my smart watch….

Best Regards

Fairly sure that several adult beverages were harmed prior to the making of that video... She was one head bump, or a side slide into the prop, away from being done. I simply can't believe the irresponsible/unqualified skippering that you see in these videos.

And, I agree. The cell phone part left me speechless. :|

M-M-M-My Marina! (to the tune of "My Sharona")

Hoo, my water home, my water home
Full of drunken boaters and brine, Marina!
Hoo, my place for fun, for fun and sun
Give you ev’ry bit of my time, Marina!

Always wanna sail, never fail, wind into my sail
See my spinner spin, in the wind, buryin’ the rail
Cry aye-aye-aye-aye, woo!

M-m-m-my Marina!
M-m-m-my Marina!

Marina restaurant, my favorite haunt!
Plenty of burgers and fries, Marina!
Nice to know a frosty beer is very near
Plenty of sailor girl thighs, Marina!
Charts and chips galore, at the Ship’s Store
Everything costs more, at the Ship’s Store

Why, why why? aye-aye, woo!

M-m-m-my Marina
M-m-m-my Marina

Tell me why I pay so much, I pay so much
For a little sliver of brine, Marina?
Always thought the sea was free, the sea was free
Like it’s some kind of shrine, Marina.

Guess there’s just one way, I gotta pay
If wanna stay, I’m gonna pay.
Aye-aye-aye-aye, woo!

M-m-m-my Marina
Hoooooo-ohhh, my Marina!

Nah, I'd starve if I had to come up with original material. :(
