Plastic T-Molding - Best way to deal with it?

Hi,

Working on refurbishing a '91 26S. The t-molding around some of the wood trim has pulled away and is extremely difficult to put back in place (and once I do so it comes back out again. How are others dealing with this issue? Is there way to get the t-molding back in place or just remove the trim and coat/epoxy the edges of the wood panels?

Thanks,

Ken

Welcome to the forum, Ken! Glad to have you participating.

Here is a recent thread where we discussed the T molding topic some. You might want to look at that for starters.

Looking forward to seeing more of your posts and some progress pics of your boat.

Again, welcome!

I reported success earlier with using a hot glue gun on T molding... Have to withdraw that. It has not held up and came unglued in the Texas heat.
