Now that the the weather has turned cool I need to provide heat. I have a Diesel heater. Is it ok to use a fuel type heater like this around epoxy? Not worried about combustion but more worried about the epoxy not curing properly. Is this an issue?

I don't think epoxy vapors are flammable per se. However, many of the solvents used to prepare and clean are very flammable.

Extreme cold will slow curing and perhaps even stop it.

I was worried about anything that is in the exhaust of the heater contaminating the epoxy and keeping it from a proper cure. I’ll probably just go with electric heat. Probably safer altogether.

Interesting. I doubt the exhaust would matter. Cold surely would. However, the exhaust is Carbon Monoxide which could be harmful to you.

I've seen woodworkers shop with heaters going. Not sure what the fuel was. Propane?
