Thank you all for your patience these past few weeks.
The Mac website was the victim on an attack from Hong Kong and Singapore that was bringing the site to crawl.
It appears they did no damage to the site, however, it caused excessive traffic and slow down.
In the process of banning traffic from those countries and updating software, something tripped up the password logon process and members were receiving failed login attempts. That seems to be corrected now.
