Hey folks, before I get it wet I need to repaint my rudder on my Mac 22, what paint should I use on it? Will be in fresh and salt water.
Regards,

I'm not familiar with the 22. Is the rudder totally retractable? If so, I would not paint it.
If it stays wet in a slip, I would paint it with whatever bottom paint you have on the bottom.

Hey Russ, Sorry I have been side tracked doing a head gasket job on my Durango. Now that it's done I can focus on our boat

Oh, so you aren't looking for marine growth prevention.
I'd probably go with something like this.

Hopefully others with experience can chime in.
