Just want to let everyone know about a new line of trailerable sailboats from Freedom Boat Works in advance of our banner advertising coming up on this site. We're displaying three of our five models in Seattle this week and will have all five in Oakland at the Strictly Sail Show in April. Visit our website for more information:

f270 Wow nice boat!

Now If I could just get a 4 year old fully loaded f270 with a 50hp motor and a blue hull for under 25K I would seriously think of making a tradel

Jeff,
I saw some of the smaller hulls there. Was there a F280 and I just missed it? Sorry, but my time was really tight and didn't have the luxury of time at the Lk Union site, so I didn't look closely at your display. Would have made more of an effort had I realized your boats went up to that size.
Regards,
Shane

looks like a rebadged boat from one of the Polish boatyards to me. there are a few manufacturers of trailer sailers on the continent, they all look to have a better finish than the mac,but at the increased pricing,id expect that,at around $65000.00 with all the toys,id go and buy a heavy displacement boat before i bought that.

yeh got it right first time, kind of makes a mockery of the statement regarding dealers on their web site

here a report on the boat
One of their promoters has TSBB in turmoil.

...not doing the dealer any favors. Beside the cost you have to question whether this is someone you would want to do business with.

I'm glad Art got his boats to the show OK. He had a lot of trouble with customs. I've been thinking about his 28 foot boat for a while now; just waiting to see what the price would be. I like my Mac powersailor but am thinking it's time to think about more of a sailboat. This isn't a power sailer. 9.9 hp motor max.

Mr Hill.
I am a little more than upset about what is currently transpiring over at Trailer Sailor.Com. I do not usually make it a point to insert myself into this kind of public discourse, but I feel that you and a few other misguided individuals are guilty of publicly smearing me personally and my business interests.
It appears you and a few others are having issues with an individual that made a post about our boats at the Seattle Boat Show. For some bizarre reason you think the post was made by me or an employee of mine.
I have no idea who you are or anyone else is on that forum including the poster in question. What I can tell you is that I am very disappointed and angered that you have chosen to use forums such as these to make disparaging and untrue statements about me any my businesses.
If you want to discuss and debate the boats we offer, that is fine. In addition to the Freedom line we are a dealer for MacGregor and have just been named the U.S. distributor for the new Imexus 291 Power Sailor.
However, I will not idly sit by and allow you to come on this site and infer what you have in your post.
If you have a problem with me, please do the honorable thing and PM me or call. I would be more than happy to speak with you.
I am a sponsor of this site and have been for some time. I have had a good working relationship with many of the members here and I resent the fact that you have decided to visit this site and attempt to stir up the childish controversy you seem to enjoy at Trailer Sailor.
Arthur W. Kelly
P.S. I am more than amazed at this firestorm. You would think we were talking about something more important than a sailboat or two.
