New Owner with Suzuki DF50

Just wanted to say hi, just got my 2006
last week. Had out last weekend and loved it!
Also wondering if anyone has the owners manual (or knows where I can find one) for a 2006 Suzuki DF50. My boat came with one but not not the manual and I have no idea how to tell if there is enough oil in the engine or the proper levels, etc. Plus just all the info in the owners manual would be very useful if anyone has it in PDF form or something similar.

but CAN welcome you to the world-wide circle of FRIENDS. someone out there will have the info or direction for you. we just bought an 08
, and it is just starting to be outfitted, but will have a suzuki 40hp. we are sailors with an oversized kicker

On the Honda site, they have owner's manuals. This is all I saw on the Suzuki site:

I have a 2007 "Owner's Manual" for my DF50.
I'd be happy to copy and mail it to you.
I could try to scan it but not sure how all 74 pages would come out or if it would clog the email.
The instructions are pretty straight forward. I have successfully changed my own oil, filter and gear oil after 20 hours of use. This was a major accomplishment as I'm less then mechanically inclined.
Love this boat!!!

Billfish, I'd VERY much appreciate any way you can get me a copy. I live in the Cayman Islands (Grand Cayman) and there isn't a Suzuki dealer here (previous owner imported the motor) so it would be a pain to try to track one down. Mailing it would be great, but cost of mailing here could be a bit more than you'd expect (probably around $10). If you want to mail it I'll try to find some way to reimburse you (maybe paypal?). If you scan can scan it, I can setup a FTP you can upload it to as well to avoid emailing issues.

Here's another vote for Brown's Point Marine. In addition to the original owner's manual, I strongly advise getting the service manual linked above for it since you don't have a dealership nearby (I didn't either). Any good outboard mechanic will be able to work on the motor, but you'll make his job easier (and maybe less expensive) and more likely to be done correctly if you can give him that. Of course, it helps immensely if you do-it-yourself.
While you're ordering from them, get things you may need in the next few years... oil and fuel filters, spark plugs, zincs, a water pump kit or two, gear case seal kit, spare propellor hardware kit (ever dropped a prop washer or nut?), and so on.
