Kelly Hanson has the teak-Holly pre-cut for $400, but they only offer it for the M's. Buck Woodcraft in Marathon (my favorite Key) sells the Terak Holly veneer plywood by the full sheet (search: buckwoodcraft)
I guess the price fluctuates as they suggest to contact them for a quote.
The Teak 1/8" is only $55 a half sheet.

Would it not be possible to just buy some nice thick strong laminate flooring like 12mm kind of stuff, cut it to fit, and presto?
Just thinking out loud.

Well, you'd want to be sure you got something that can withstand being wet once in a while.

If you put down a teak floor - - - you MUST remove the stock crappy carpet or you lose too much headroom - - -right?? (PS I love headroom).

Too right.
My flooring I just put down takes quite the abuse. Spills, kids, dog, cat, lots and lots of accidents, including the adult drunken stupor kind
I figure putting down a nice moisture resistant underpad plus the laminate flooring of your choice. You could use the carpet inserts as a template.
Again.... just thinking out loud.

I found the perfect flooring on ebay. These are 1x1' teak tiles made for outdoor use. They are mounted on a plastisc grid that simply snaps together. All you do is cut the edges to match the floor shape. To clean underneath just pull up part or all, than re-snap in place. If water gets under them it stays under the plastic grid. The total cost of my floor including the bathroom was 160.00. Still on ebay ( Hortes brand teak tile decking interlocking), easy, cheap, and lookes great- Garett - New 1999 26x owner Smith Mountain Lake, Va.

I got a set from Kelly-Hanson for $375. Looks great. Already varnished, cut and ready to go. Just pile on the 5200 and lay it down.

Found the eucalyptus 1' by 1' foot square with the interlocking plastic bottom 6 pack at HD for 30$ today. They mark on the packaging that it is for use on boats.

So Quebec 1;
How do you propose to lay those tiles on your cabin sole...??
You have an '03 M ? or is it '04?
Mine is '03 and has those wood access panels on the cabin floor both in the salon and head and that walkway outside the head for going forward and they all have breather holes. Would you want to seal that floor up with tiles? I just replaced the carpet with with much better quality from Home Depot, that way I don't permanently seal the floor. Not sure why the original M's have that while the newer ones are all fiberglass moulded.

I'll try and post pics later. The Teak weatherproof 1'x1' tiles are a no brainer they just lay directly on the fiberglass floor. The water, dirt falls through the slats. Looks like in laid floor. garrett

I've also looked at the Kelly Hanson floor. Anybody have it installed for a few seasons and can tell me how it holds up????

I installed just last month. I think it will hold up just fine. I don't think anyone had KH's floors for a few seasons... don't think they had them available that long.
