LED lights in aft berth

I acquired this 3 light kit(12LED each) at the local hardware store for 19.95$ because it was a 12 volt system which came with a 110v adapter and plug. I cut the adapter and 110 plug off and replaced it with a male cigarette lighter type plug which fits in my 12v outlet on the boat. The three lights were simply velcro-ed to the boat(the lights are plastic and very light)and the wires led through the existing boat seams as you can see in the pictures. Reading in the aft berth when on the hook is now a brilliant experience.

I placed it over the hole closed by the plate hiding the winch bolts. The main problem here was to route the wiring to the panel. Just now there is no separat switch besides that at the light itself. Published by: MS Classifieds
