Bow light

Here is a picture of a Jabsco floodlight I installed on the bow railing. WHen comeing back to the slip after dark, there were some unlighted obstacles that I wanted to avoid hitting. Putting the light up there avoids all reflection off sails and chrome. The light has seen 2 or 3 seasons of use now with no problems, but it gets a lot of salt spray up there. I keep thinking of moving it to the mast, but then will get reflected light killing night vision. I guess it is OK up front.

I placed it over the hole closed by the plate hiding the winch bolts. The main problem here was to route the wiring to the panel. Just now there is no separat switch besides that at the light itself. Published by: MS Classifieds
