outboard steering wheel

I have started the installation of a steering wheel conversion for my venture 22. I know it will cost some cabin space, but after re-working the interior seating I shouldnt lose too much. The steering is a teleflex NFB kit which runs to the small motor well. My initial reason for doing this was that with the tiller controls the engine wont make a complete turn in one direction due to the handle hitting the side of the boat. I have looked around but cant find any setups similar to mine except on recently installed inside a Mac 26. I plan on installing a small dodger next season so that should make the companion way a great place to operate from when the weather turns bad.
