Rudder Linkage

Never liked the idea that the two rudders where tied together by a bolt through a 1" pipe with no bearing surface or adjustment. Picked up a couple of Tie Rod End Bearings from northern tool - "http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_23631_23631" and made the fittings by cutting up some 3/8" SS bolts to attach to the end of the 1" pipe between the rudders. The welds did no come out exactly square (I did not do the welding but probably could not have done better anyway) but that just made drilling the holes in the pipe more challenging. Just finished the installation and so far so good after a quick spin around the harbor it is very smooth and responsive.
