A digital VOM from Harbor Freight (cost $4.99) hard wired to aux DC house panel (more later on that). Good to 1/100th of a volt, it monitors charging voltage from shore-power AC charger, solar panel,and engine charging as well as discharge. Hook velcro from HomeD on back mounts it to the rug. Easy and cheap.
