Do pillows count?

We just bought our Tattoo 26 last week so I haven't had the time or opportunity to work on the 30 pages of ideas I have already drawn up. Most will require better access to the boat itself for measurements and fittings.

Still, I needed to do something other than Internet stalk other boats and order stuff from eBay.

So today I took the plunge and made pillow case covers.

Not too exciting, to be sure, but our last sailboat, a Catalina Capri 22 had little opportunity for personalization. We specifically purchased the Tattoo as a weekender and to travel with it for vacation. That means we want it a bit more homey.

The Captain is retired Navy so he gets the Navy seal case. I wanted something whimsical.

Hey, it's a first step.

Here's to dreaming about the upcoming season.
