Small drawers under the companionway ladder

Cheap but effective storage for small things and having them handy all the time. There's still lot of room for 2 batteries and hands to mess around with electrical wiring.
No glue or screws, just stuffed in the cut. Can be ease out to access the battery place for cleaning or any need.
