Handy temporary anchor mount anchor
- Boat Type: Temporary, Mount, anchor, MacGregor 26S, Boat Type
Not exactly a mod, but an easy, effective, and inexpensive way to keep the anchor handy when you are planning to use it. A #8 anchor rests between the mast tangs at the fore pulpit, and is held in place with a short bungee cord. You will want to put some sort of pad between the shank and the hull, and of course it would make sense to go ahead and attach the anchor line before you head out.
