Locking Rotating Mast - M26

Through necessity, I bent the mast and it wouldn't rotate from side to side, I decided to "lock" the mast straight ahead until I solved the mast problem. It was pretty simple, drill a hole in the mast foot plate and the plate attached to the bottom of the mast (excuse the lack of technical terms). Dropped in a pin (drop nose pin) and voila, mast locked to not rotate. Not only fixed my mast problem in the short term but I also use it to prevent the mast from rotating to the side when mounting it on the top of the boat for towing. PS: got the mast straightened and it rotates as it should.

Model Year: 2011
Photo Caption: Larger hole is where the boom vang attaches. Smaller hole is where the locking pin goes through.
