Galley with Removeable Cooktop

My 26X recent galley remod combines several features I have seen posted by others, plus a cooktop insert that fits in the sink. I wanted safe propane below deck, and this scheme enables any leaking propane to exit the boat thru the sink drain and thru hull. Propane bottes have a sealing brass cap when not installed on the cooktop and disconnecting is done in the cockpit (not below deck). The countertop is raised 6" and allows for voluminous storage under the counter as well as a 10" deep sink (enough to fit a 16oz propane bottle with regulator). Countertop is made from two (2) 24"x18"x0.5" HDPE cutting boards. A rabbet joint is used to match the fixed and hinged tops. Drawers below and waste basket are typical Sterilite products. The 'storage tub' is repurposed remnant from another mod where I cut 7.5" off the top of the dinette aft seat tub to fit my Engel 35 refrigerator (my Engel is suspended from its handles and is covered in another mod listing (photo (less Engel) included here for reference)). Tub bottom is attached under the counter with PVC door stop material to hide the seam and provide ledges for addition of a sliding tray at later date if I need. This voluminous dry store space is 27.5"x14.5"x11" deep below the countertop. Total black countertop area is 46.5"x18" with additional recessed 'catch-all' area to port 39.8"x ~6.3" x 6" deep which still has the grey tile. The sink is 16"x12"x10" deep (inside: 14"x10"x10") with faucet offset aft in line with the support post. The water pump is on the 'accessories' circuit and has an ergometrically located switch under the countertop to turn off the pump while allowing other accessories to continue to be powered. The cooktop is Eno model 43104 (from SureMarineService.com), includes potholders, and fits in a top Sterilite drawer when not in use. I like the aft location of the sink/cooktop as it provides more headroom, better exhaust of heat, and I can work while sitting on the aft dinette seat. I find using the cooktop with control to port is easier and heat exhausts better. If I need to concurrently use the sink and cooktop, I simple use the dishpan alone (which normally resides in the sink) and place it on the countertop or dinette table. The raised galley is now the same height as my dinette table and feels natural for adults (no need to bend over to work). The PVC frame sits on the original counter fiddle, and I used a 1" router bit for exact fit to this edge.
