I have a MacGregor 19. (It's for sale by the way).
I installed three vents that have totally eliminated any venting or ordor problems. I first installed a stainless steel louvered vent in the head door. I then installed a cowl vent in the head just to the right side of the hatch. Finally I installed a solar operated vent in the hatch cover. Air flows well through out the cabin.
