Schematic - Dual Polarity Mast Lights

Here is a simple schematic I drew in paint. It allows the addition of an anchor light without running additional wires (except to the added lamp). No added deck fittings connectors or interior wiring. You just change the switch, add the light and diodes at both lamps. I would add the diodes inside the light fixtures to keep the connections out of the weather. There is a .2~.4 volt drop across the diode.
