Using Extra Space Behind Head

There's not much extra space on the Macgregor 19, but there are a few places it can be found. The obvious one I saw was the back side of the head wall -- facing the aft berth.

I mounted a wall hanging trash holder from West Marine right next to the entry step. It's close enough to the main part of the cabin it can be easily reached, but not where you bump into it.

Next I used the space to mount a 12-disc CD changer and a small inverter. The inverter is rarely used, so I wanted it out of the way -- but was tired of it bouncing around the cabin.

None of these additions protrude much into the aft berth, so it's still useable for kids and smaller folks.
