Water storage and system

We installed a 150 litre plastimo tank under the rear berth but due to the limited expansion we get about 80 litres.
There is more space to install extra smaller tanks but due to weight we are happy with this amount as we will also be carrying 90 litres of fuel and several other weighty mods in the cockpit.
Note blocks of wood to support light plastic panels under cushions.
The photo's show where we have run cable and drain pipes, also the water distribution valve system, this allows us to pump from tank to galley through filters (2 micron and .5 micron charcoal) to tap or direct to original manual pump tap in case of power/pump loss.
We can also pump from tank to the aft shower/inlet or bring water in to the tank or galley either by pump or external pressure.
We used the compartment on the port side aft of the galley for the valves and we also store safety gear on top of them.
this works well as by moving the safety gear to operate the valves I am reminded of safety gear status.
We plan to install an extra 70-80 litre tank below the vee bunk which will also hook into this system.

I highly suggest this relatively cheap modification! We added an electric faucet (small pump in-line) controlled at the faucet by a turn knob, not by a button. The button ones mean you have to hold the button down, where the knob one works just like ...

I replaced the starboard water tank with a better one (flexible type) which is now located below the cooler chest. The filling pipe goes below the headroom through the closet in the headroom and up on deck. You see the filling fitting on the picture....
