Mast floatation

Well when I rebuilt my mast from a 2 section 24ft to a 3 section 28ft I bought 6X5ft swimming pool noodles & inserted them into the mast they have a 3/4" center hole which allows for installing wires. I figure if I should ever knock down or turtle ! the less weight I have to upright the better I capped the mast head by cutting a piece of plastic out of a cottage cheese container lid !. you can see the noodles in the base of the mast, the 2ft section I had left over
