Ronca anchor and beefier roller

I've a heavier West Marine (Lewmar) articulating anchor roller , of moderately heavy SS, bolted
through a 3/8 inch aluminum plate/bowsprit (~ 4" x 2 ft.), which
is in turn bolted through the foredeck and through a triangular
3/8 aluminum plate cut to fit the whole fore-triangle of under-
deck forward of the anchor locker. That triangular backing plate
is very heavily bedded in resin/fiber-goop and was pressed up
into place from below by a section of shoring timber pushed up
hard by a hydraulic bottle jack.

We're down to one bow cleat now, to the port of the anchor
roller, but it is significantly up-sized from the original cleat, and
also through-bolted to the triangular backing plate. If anything
goes, the whole bow goes.

I may install a windlass - I've a couple of choices on hand, one
electric (Lewmar V700)/and a manual (Simpson-Lawrence?),

If I were to install either, it would likely be in the area at or
about the aft edge of the anchor locker. If I were to get carried
away with the idea of chain rode, then I'd consider running a
fiberglass tube down between the fore-peak berths and have
the lower fore-foot of the hull, way down below the fore-peak,
be the chain locker, probably with a caged bilge pump down
there as well.

I do not want to carry much chain at deck-level.
