Re: Need help. Electrical wiring for frig
Concur with Russ. You've got a power drop through your wiring that can be solved by directly connecting (through a switch) to your battery. Test by directly wiring to a single battery and see if it works without anything else in the loop. Thanks for the added support on Russ's response! Glad I didn...

Re: Need help. Electrical wiring for frig
I have the same fridge. You'll love it! The compressor takes a lot of power to start up. Once it's running, not so much. Your problem is the 12v outlet. Many of them are junk and have poor contacts. Or....your wiring to the outlet is junk. Not able to supply decent amperage for the compressor to st...

Need help. Electrical wiring for frig
I recently purchased an Edgestar 43qt mini-frig for my 26X. I don't have an inverter, but attempted to use the cigarette lighter plug-in. The frig compressor would come on and go off about 3x before sitting idle, with the power light and temp reading still on and lit. The frig never came on in a wor...

Re: Upper Chesapeake Sailors (North of Bay Bridge)
Any Mac club/sailor forum for those who seek to meetup on the Upper-end of the Chesapeake? I launch out of Maryland Marina (Middle River) and frequent Hart-Miller Island, Fairlee Creek, and some coves along the Eastern Shore north of Bay Bridge. Just searching for those interested in linking up and...

I'll be sure to look for you on Saturday. I will probably be on the jetski that day. White Sea-Doo with the First Mate holding on (she hasn't been promoted to Admiral....yet)RobertB wrote:If you see a Bluebeached at HMI with a couple of huge Chesapeake Bay Retrievers acting crazy , that is us.

Re: Upper Chesapeake Sailors (North of Bay Bridge)
Luna Sea will launch out of Sandy Point (Annapolis) or Harbour Hospital (Baltimore) this weekend. We are not sure what we are doing but up for options. Thinking of heading up towards Chestertown. Hey Robert, I probably won't make it all the way up there to Chestertown this weekend. My "Lt.&quo...

Re: Upper Chesapeake Sailors (North of Bay Bridge)
I'm on Rock Creek by White Rocks Marina just southeast of the Key Bridge. I'm down in VA starting the Carolina Loop this week. :macm: I had a slip at White Rocks Marina last year. The wind was strong there, pushing the 26X so much as I always tried backing into the slip. Now, up in Middle River, it...

If anyone is interested in a spring trip I will probably do the "Carolina Loop" on the ICW April 12-20 between Norfolk Va and Elizabeth city NC. Its about a 100 mile loop and beautiful in the spring. Everything is blooming and its before the bugs and heat. There are free docks or you can ...
