You'll need to do the MAC wiggle or Mac quick stop(bump) to get the bow secured in the bumper stop. What's happening is you don't have enough tongue weight when it's not snugged up. This causes your trailer to sway.

I would agree with Dimitri. Get an approved 50 foot shorepower cord. For saftey if nothing else. Our boat is wired for shore power and we use it constantly.

Heavy seas and high winds: All fins down, ballast filled up and keep the speed at 6 knots. Has worked great for us on Puget Sound.

I've never stayed at a marina yet that the halyards aren't slapping. Might not be popular, but we think it adds some flavor to the whole experience.
