Post by puffect »

I'm consiering a Minn Kota saltwater engine mount trolling motor for my 26x Honda 50 as a backup and for docking. Anyone tried this? I didn't get a return on search.

Hi ,

The EM twin set-up sounds neat. What's the possibility of latching one onto each rudder ?

Don't think that would help your sailing speeds
I would think they would need to employ vertically and quickly and be out of the way when not in use and not be an eye sore, just for starters.

I agree. I guess I had been thinking more along the lines of slapping them on in an emergency situation should the main engine conk out. Being reasonably light they could perhaps be employed quite easily.
