Goodby but still here

Post by Ben »

Hi Everyone;
I have been on this board for more than 5 years and decided to buy "Seas the Moment", our 2002X because of what I read here.
But, Friday I watched her go down the road behind someone else's vehicle. Had to sell because of health problems. Just couldn't stand to see her sit beside the garage and rot.
Many thanks for all the info. I haven't posted too much but have read just about everything. Had the privilage of going to the first San Juans Rendeavous. What an experience! Very sad to see her go but time to move on. I will still be reading all the messages just to remember.
Happy Sailing
Ben

Ben,

Sorry to hear that you had to give her up. Keep seizing the moments every way you can.

We also bought our 26X new in 2002 and attended that San Juans rendezvous. Lots of great memories. Drive on over to Port Orchard for this year's rendezvous if you have the opportunity. I'm sure there will be lots of Mac owners who'd love to take you out sailing with them.

Ben - fair wind and tides and good luck with your health issues. I hope even if that is your last sail that you carry those memories with you with a smile.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. I have a lot of great memories associated with "Seas the Moment". Mostly the people I have met. For now I will have to sail vicariously through you guys with what you write on this board.
Thanks
Ben
