The new guy!

Post by vmax1 »

Hi Everyone, seen a Macgregor 26 at the Calgary boat show last weekend, I`m very impressed that the boat can do so much over other boats, the nice interior, and you can waterski with it too. Going to see the dealer this Sat, and do some dealing. You have a GREAT board here, thanks Rich.

We purchased our 05 M from Ghost Lake Rec. just outside of Calgary and can't say enough about the dealer.

This was our 1st boat and they did everything that we could hope for.

I purchased my 2002 26X from Mike at Ghost Lake 3 yrs ago. It was a consignment deal and he really didn't have much to do with the deal. I stopped in last year and he really tried to sell me a new boat. When I asked about getting some replacemant parts, I didn't really get a lot of assistance. I'm sure he was just having a busy day or something. As for the boat, I'm sure you'll have a great time on it and you'll soon learn that waterskiing behind will soon be replaced by tubing. It's a great weekend boat and one of the options you should look at is the rail mount BBQ and possibly the full enclosure if you plan to overnight on it much.
The board here is amazing! I have found so much information from this site that I rely on it more than my dealer. There is years of knowledge here not to mention experience. Most everyone here can assist you in any way that you can imagine (except financing, you're on your own for that).

Best part of storage in Mikes lot at Ghost Lake is 'mast up dry storage'. Hook up and launch just like the power boats.
