Not much happening here!

Post by dmac26s »

Well, since discovering this forum a week ago, I haven't seen much in the way of active discussions.

I posted a couple things, not much response. (Okay one actual question)

I was hopefull for a lively bunch... Oh well... :(

Come over to the power sailer or pub - things get lively there. Actually most of us it appears have :macx: s and the next largest group is the white :macm: s - there are some blue :macm: s but that group is a little slow.
Seriously, most of your general sailing questions and such you will find appropriate on the power sailer so you will likely get more views of your posts there with correspondingly more replies.

A side note - there are active trailer sailer boards on yahoo - one is trailersailing and the other is trailersail and they may be someplace you might like to visit.

Sorry dmac, but the preponderance of this Membership owns the later models, 26X and 26M. Lot's of these members have previously owned one of Roger's classics, but the discussion leans toward the powersailers.

Things will hop a little more in season.

I sail a 1972 Venture 25 in northeast Ohio.

Just bought a Pearson 26 with a lot more weight underneath, so I don't know about too much sailing this year(on the Venture), but it's the boat I cut my teeth on and I appreciated it.

New 26 D owner here

Post by Wayneoh »

I just purchased an '88 26D and will be a frequent poster here. I will post in all the areas as some of the questions pertain to all areas of sailing.

Looking forward to enjoying a great summer!
