No not SS. I used Alum flat bar 1/4" 5" for the double anchor roller bow mounting brkt and 2" wide for the 4ft bowsprit with 5" cross bracing and 4" for bow backing plates
I was given a couple of quotes of 2 grand to be made from SS my design so I went for the Alum flat bar & done it myself so far about $137.

Nice view on the backing John, gives me another idea. I was loooking for another way to get the speakers up front., and the windlass brace.
