We're somewhat new to sailing but have been clubbing and taking lessons for several years. My wife & I have done our research and a Mac PowerSailor is the boat for us. I like the versatility of being able to trailer or power to a new location anytime I want. We're looking to purchase in a year or two.
Wondering if there are many Canadian Mac sailors out there, we're in Ontario. Any meetups & such? Like to talk to people in my neighbourhood. Want to find out which is the best Mac to get, where I find find one at a good price etc..

Re: Canadian Mac Enthusiasts?
Welcome guys,
There are a lot of macs all over, so why not up here? Might I suggest editing your personal info to include a little more about yourself; location, boat name, etc. It all helps others get a sense of knowing each other.
Regards,
Shane

Hi, we live in Montreal, we purchased a new MAC26M in Hamilton at Dowsar Marine. Let me know when you purchase your Mac. So far it's been great, even though we have been out for only a week so far.

MacHarris;
BC has a Mac Club called MYCBC.ca that you can look up. We have a few social events each year and always on the lookout for new members. Check it out.

I just came back from a sail with a couple who live in Acton and keep their boat at Midland. Is that close?
