Mac on the rocks!!! (Pic works now...sorry!)
I was reading on up on the Northern Neck Forum on tidalfish.com and stumbed across this picture of what appears to be a 26x destroyed by Ernesto just a couple years back. Thought I'd share. Not sure where the hull went. You can clearly make out a rudder to the top left, fold up captain's seat, and mast support.

Dave it appears there's a login required to view the picture so it is not refering to our forum.

Pic worked for me...thats the most smashed up Mac I've seen... You can see some bits of stringers/ballast tank in the upper right portion of the wreckage. Guess that qualifies as a total loss.

Ernesto was just a tropical depression when it hit the bay. Really caught a lot of people off guard. It caused over $20,000 in damage to my dad's retaining wall and stole a huge piece of his front yard at one house. I went to the second to inspect the damages right after the storm and found two yellow labs chasing what looked like menhaden in the front yard/lake...

Ernesto was a nasty storm that people wrote off as "just" a tropical storm. However, it was a long lasting storm and waves caused a lot of damage to moored boats.
Below is a link to damage friends of mine at RPBS experienced. Really bad.
