Gippsland Lakes over this Christmas?

Post by brianhar »

Ladies,

Is anyone going down to the Gippsland Lakes over this Christmas? If so, I suspect that it may be up to us to organise some sort of get together. The boys seem to be skirting around the issue. :D
Our :macm: will be down there from 13 Dec to 11 Jan. We will be with it for 3 out of the 4 weeks - 26 Dec to 4 Jan Brian's son will be baby sitting the Mac :macm: while we are at the Nationals in NSW. Our plans are very flexible and could meet anyone somewhere- just need to have some sort of interest in the idea in general and perhaps agree on a plan closer to Christmas. What are your plans?

On another issue- I owned a Janome sewing centre in a previous life (now a public servant) and currently am making curtains for the :macm: . I have an Janome embroidery machine - if anyone is of like minds have you noticed that an old 8000 card has a boat when embroidered out in the right colours (and minus the backstay) has an uncanny resemblance to the :macm: - saggy forstay and all? Very effective.

Val
