Ballast control

Post by TAM »

I've developed an automatic control system for my ballast. I added a "brain" (as in slug) to vent/intake mods posted here by other users. It provides visual status of the fore and aft valves and preprogrammed fill/empty routines. (sensors for vent position and full/empty) Is there interest in this as a kit? Could be packaged as; fore and aft electronic valves and brain, or as just brain. Other features you'd like to see?

Not necessary IMHO and I can definitely think of other things I would buy for $100 (or more). I don't have any problems with this aspect of the Mac...even doing most of my sailing solo.
