Any Ideas? Image
Came with my 09 26M and the dealer did not know what it was for.

Thanks,

Looks like it could be a support bar for one of the back rest cushions on the starboard side....

Its a yellow tape measure with inches on top and metric on bottom..
And a 1/2" X 12 "aluminum tube with 2 nuts and bolts which the workers left in the boat during construction.

It's a wrench used for adjusting the stays.

Yep, looks like it's a homemade wrench for tensioning the linear adjusters on stays and lifelines in the stock Macs, so the clevis pin can be inserted through both peices to retain the best position while holding the desired tension on the rigging.

Yup. I saw one at BWY. I was told they'll sell them to suckers for $25.

Thanks ALL...
I have not needed to adjust the stays yet but will keep it handy for when I do.
This board is awesome because of the people that hang out here and was a big factor in getting me to pull the trigger on buying the Mac.

It's the cheapest marketing tool they don't have to pay for.

While this looks like a useful tool for tightening the stays, I like the wrench Bill (Boats4sail) supplies with his boats.
It's an adjustable Vice Grip with 2 bolts through it. It provides great linear adjustment and locks in place for easier
insertion of the pin.
