how long is the THROTTLE CABLE COMP to the engine

i got my macgregor26 for a couple of days, now m preparing to install the engine. They ask me how long the THROTTLE CABLE COMP will be, they will carry it with the engine.

Hi your cable should be about 12 feet. I had mine in my 26X about 20 feet but that was too long and I had problems with the shift control lever. Now, with the much shorter cable, it works perfectly.
