two questions
I have had an aluminum boat for 39 years or so. I found out that other than 50/50 marine alloy that salt water eats aluminum very very fast the local dealer for macgregor will not say what kind of aluminum the new trailers are built of---Does anyone know.
Also what is the price of the m trailer at the factoy???
the dealer here quots $2500 on day and $4400 the next day+exchange and delivery=taxes????

Yes and no. Aluminum will be eaten by salt water whem under water. Once removed, the damage is slow, much slower than steel. Steel will rust fast even after removing from water. Don't see a case for steel trailers. Ok, paint will stick better on steel. Yippie. The price for the aluminum trailer is $2,490, add freight and taxes.
