On sailing the Mac to hawaii; I have seen Octopussy, the 2nd largest private boat in the world owned by Microsoft owner Paul and he has a 30 foot sailboat onboard. You could have an escort boat as you sailed your mac over the Pacific and at the end of a nice day of ocean sailing hoist the Mac aboard your escort boat in time for cocktails. Does that qualify as sailing the pacific? Might as well sail the mac around the world that way.
