Different mast location V 24 vs. Mac 25?

I see that the jib is smaller and the main is larger on the V 24? I'm wondering if the difference is due to the mast being about one foot forward on the V 24.

I'm not sure about the V24 and the Mac 25, but the V21 and the Mac21 are different hulls. I would bet the V24 has a different keel design than the Mac 25, and has a different mast and main set up because of that.
