Break out the sweaters!!

In Miami we have similar weather, I actually turned off the a/c today and might need to turn on the heater tonight and tomorrow (low 50's are expected). BRRRRRRRRRR

I think it's supposed to "rain".
Water can actually fall from the sky on occasion.
Don't that beat all.

Year in and year out, it does rain sometimes in MDR. I can't take it. I'm moving to Newport beach where it is warm.

I guess we can joke, but a week or so ago, during the big rains down in California, I read where a tornado and waterspout struck a marina at Sunset Beach. It reportedly picked up a catamaran and lifted it completely out of the water.

I hope it was not the catamaran we have been druling on. A week ago we were out sailing and the sun was shining it got up to 60+F with no breeze and I got a tan with my shirt off but the water is still below 40 F.

I heared on Public radio yeasteday that the Oregon coast wave studies says for the last 10 years average ocean waves have increased by 1 inch each year and big waves have increased by 4 inches a year, if this continues the weather will really change for the west coast of the US. I also heared that warmer water is being recorded further north along the west coast than ever before and that red squid were traveling with the warmer current almost to the Straight of Juan d' fu@, there main diet is salmon and once in the Salish Sea it would be a real problem.

Do not despair!!

Sunshine, beautiful skies, and fair winds have returned to Marina Del Rey. The nearby mountains are covered with several feet of new snow.

All is well.
