Proof: I’m out on the water enjoying my Mac, not at the dock pointing out flaws of another owners vessel.

I'll be sailing the Bahamas in a few weeks on Le Zephyr. The only other person who will be sailing his own boat at that particular time from my marina is me. 220,000$ Hunter 21,500$
I have to admit my slip buddies' 220,000$ 41 foot hunter is real nice but he's working today

Yes I remember passing a few 30, 40 footers on the way in,and later the guy with the 42 foot hunter came up to me and voiced his approval ...he was impressed. If I remember well the guitar player sang a song in English for you when he realized you were from Canada.

Wee , Merci Yep & I got to drink free beer all night because they our fellow Quebecor sailors at the marina party & BBQ loved my Scottish accent, and told me they loved the pic's of my boat and would love to see it in their marina , So you never know she might just make it up their for a week this summer we shall see !
No annoying problems with my boat for what I got and for what I paid for her !. I think she is an excellent boat & choice where else could I get a boat that size for that price new that can render me so much choice of use
Now I consider the mods I done as challenges to my abbility I would have had to pay three times what I did for my boat in its present stage The only Mac26m I know of that can fly six head sails & not by just throwing money at her as some think I designed & make most of my mods and copied some from this sight also but I'm also a very shrewed shopper wait my time & barter to the death ! if I can get away with it ! just ask Beene , I just bought another Harken 001 furler so as I have a matching set "its way better than the mac furler I now have on my jib" with an alum foil , I had been bartering back & forth all summer with the dealer & 7 months later I got it for the sale price I paid for my first one two years ago and got $70. worth of free hardware to boot
Our greatest annoyance is having to stop whatever we are doing and take the time to thank folks for their accolades and to show them around our . Most are astonished at the amount of room we have, and how she is outfitted. Of course, when our motor is pointed out, a lot of ooh's and aah's are uttered as we tell of our speed, especially when relating to "getting there" or "getting out of the way" of less than ideal weather Alice and Stew of :THE RESTLESS TWO"
Restless too?? Serious? Seems to be a strange case of Deja-preview.
How did that name come about... praps you'd better pm me on that one?
I know what you mean regarding the show arounds!
Jeff wrote:Let me start by stating that I absolutely love my '06 Mac M. But since this is a request for little annoyances, I'll give my top two: First, I don't like the screw and knob on the forward hatch. Last summer the knob stripped right off the screw when I was trying to open the forward hatch. So I had to repair that. The second thing that bugs me is putting up and taking down the dining table. We camp on our Mac fairly often so a mod that I'll be making this winter is a quick disconnect setup for the table leg. Other than that I love the boat and these are really minor annoyances that I can fix easily. Now if only warm weather would hurry up and get here.
Yeah, same exact thing happened to mine... I put some J/B weld in the screw hole, screwed it back on and let it dry. That knob is never falling off again, trust me.
