With other, even younger young women starting out recently to be the "youngest woman to circumnavigate" we may tend to overlook Jessica.
Abby was born in Oct 1993 and Jessica in March.
But Jessica aged "ten years" last night when her boat went turtle in the south Atlantic. What a boat! in that it only got a bent solar panel support. Mast and all electronics still are functioning. EPRIB went off!
Go Jessica.....
(On edit... correction...... "youngest person to circumnavigate", male or female) Wow, what are the boys going to do? Will this end up by setting off an infant in a car seat with an iv implanted and an automatic bottom-washer, all steered by autopilot?

Ruth and I check in on her almost every day. I'm critical of someone that young undertaking something like this, but we are in total awe of what she has accomplished. Quite remarkable,
