Need picture of Nicro vent above head
Does anyone have picture of a Nicro solar vent installed above the head on a 26X? What size 3 or 4 inch?
Thanks

Re: Need picture of Nicro vent above head
I'm out on the water right now, and not able to do a picture till I get home. I installed a 4 inch nicrovent in the head window of our 26X. I chose the window location as opposed to the deck install, to keep walking path more clear up on the cabin roof side deck. It doesn't get as direct a solar exposure, but seems to get enough to operate the fan just fine.

Re: Need picture of Nicro vent above head
I'm considering the front hatch as the installation location for mine. It's close enough to the head (I hope), and this way I won't be putting any permanent holes in my boat. (the hatch cover I can be easily replace at a reasonable cost if needed).

Re: Need picture of Nicro vent above head
We have installed 2 nicrovents. One is on the forward hatch, as mentioned. It is set to blow into the boat, and adds ventilation to the V berth area. The other is in the head window, as shown in the photo by Indulgence above. The fan in the head is set to vent out, for obvious reasons. It also encourages air flow through the cabin when used along with the fan in the forward hatch. I wouldn't worry too much about a head window installation, as far as putting a permanent hole in the boat is concerned. I'm sure you can replace the tinted lexan head window for a fraction of the cost of a new forward hatch.
