Re: 6 Headsail Running Rigging Configuration
Trust me he's serious. I went to visit John a week and a half ago and I was blown away with what he has done to his
and what he's in the process of doing. Very ambitious and every thing is done top notch... no cutting corners.

Re: 6 Headsail Running Rigging Configuration
John. when are you going to run out of space to put all that rigging
Not to denigrate what you have done so far, I think it's awesome, but, wow, you might want to take some time to take up another hobby, like, darts, pool, archery, horseshoes,,skydiving, skirt chasing, drag racing, etc, something
Just kidding. Keep on keepin' on, you the man.

John,
When do we see her in the water
Is Geoff going to have to be under power to keep up when taking all of those pictures we all anticipate

Re: 6 Headsail Running Rigging Configuration
Hi Ray
Worked all morning til noon trying to finnish off some mounting brk's for one set of my power clutches but ran out of time & when I wanted to trail fit them so as to mark out some of the mounting holes to be drilled well it was raining cats & dogs so I will finnish them off tomorrow & paint them so as they will be ready to mount on Fri , on Mon morn I drove up to Barrie got my new 5/32 forestay made up so as I can also get my new harken 00 furler mounted for my Jib I already have one on the genny so now I'll have a matched pair of furlers and they do give off a better sail shape with an adj. jib/genny halyards from the cockpit , some of my other mods on the go can be finnished off when the boat is in the water and some others are going to have to wait until the fall or early spring next yr , my 7ft genny track mod took me 6 times longer than I thought because I changed the design of it 5 times while making it !
So I plan on having her in the water no later than July / 2 / 2010 Meaford Harbour
.
Dont know where Beene's going to be ! ? we're still trying to see where our schedules will allow for our next sail out ! I mentioned some July dates but he's now talking Aug. !
Guess you can't wait for some pic's of the first clipper rigged
See Ya

Re: 6 Headsail Running Rigging Configuration
update.
Well the weather has not been co-opperartive rained most of the day Sat.
& almost all day Sun.
So progress has been slow So peeved-off is as they say ! is not my first choice of words !.
And nobody carries any inventory now everything is order as you go ! with two wks min del . !!! ? .
Sh_t no wonder the econominy is the way it is if people can not get what they want or need when they need it they say pi$$-on it leave it until next yr !!!
My expeirence with two wk's min del. usualy extends into min. 6wk's
So now I'm into 2-3 hrs driving or two wks waiting time !!!
???
Now some of the sailboat hardware I'm after nobody has a clue what I'm looking for !!!, but I get the impression if these parts were say 600$ x 4 instead of 30$ x 4 I might be getting a much better reception !
I am very good at picking people's responses to my questions !! ? very sad state .
Anyway here's some of my progress
