Thanks for the reminder

I discovered this site in the spring of 2005 when we were shopping for a boat - have found it to be a consistently valuable resource over the years.

Just place all of your money in a hole-free paper bag. That should do. :D :D

I think ROAD Soldier has eye holes cut in all the bags I've seen him with.

I made my little contribution and have reaped far more in value back. The people running and moderating this site have been great. I have learned so much and will learn more from all here. I wish it could be more but my retirement/lottery winnings boat has not come in yet. Thanks so much.

I'd also be happy to support this forum when Heath and the team decide to support the owners of the 26C. It is said on the other forums that their is a pronounced bias against non-powersailor MacGregors on this forum. 26C owners have described their posts being moved, deleted, and made to feel un-welcome. One 26C owner went to the trouble of making up nice "26C" badges just like the current ones for the 26M, 26C, and 19. The management told him "Thanks but no thanks," and that confirmed the bias.

This bias seems so petty like teenage girls keeping the new girl out of their click in highschool. Guys, we're all MacGregor Owners here, some of us just have smaller engines. But if Management makes a change, I'd be happy to donate.

I beg to differ, MnC. There is a whole section of this forum entirely dedicated to non-X/M boats... it is here:

http://www.macgregorsailors.com/forum/v ... m.php?f=10

We do not maliciously move things - if they don't belong in one forum we do move them to another (such as 26C topics posted to the Powersailor forum). This way non-X/M boat owners can easily find the most relevant topics for them in future. If anyone has an issue about how we are moderating we encourage members to respectfully contact a Mod via PM and they will happily to discuss it with you.

As for the badges, this is certainly the first I've heard of them. Please contact me on PM and let me know what 'management' you contacted.

And if you have specific examples of the other things you've alleged, I would like you to please contact me via PM and give me those examples... I will look into them.

The bottom line is that we welcome *all* Macgregor sailors here, and always will.
