Straps for secureing furler to mast while trailering

Post by Matt19020 »

I saw these on TV this morning and it looks like this may be a perfect kit to secure mast and furler while trailering. Has anybody ever tried them?

That's pretty funny as I saw that infomercial for the first time this morning as well and was thinking the same thing.

Don't try to order if you live in Pennsylvania, like I do. The idiots forgot to add Pennsylvania on their "List of States" and you cannot type it in..... sooo your order will NOT PROCESS. :x Theres' no Tele # either. :x
They have an email address so I'm going to send them one... so they can fix it & I can get my order through, MAYBE ! :?

PS: FYI-- Pennsylvania is a Commonwealth not a state per say.

Frank,
I just noticed PA was not listed. Thats pretty funny if no email reply they have a phone # 1-800-308-3215
I may try to order tomorrow and ship to my sisters house in NJ or call them myself....I have used those green foam ties before and paid $78 for 2 at Lowes they work well but show wear quick and also breakdown in the sun relatively fast...I think they are just foam covered copper wire...

Yes, Matt, I saw the phone # too... I overlooked it the first time (Duh)

I'm gonna try'em out and see what happens. Also, some weekend this Summer I'd like to trailer my boat down to Philly area and we can take our Mac's out on the Del. River, are you up for that ? Maybe we could get Sir Klemore & Nice Aft to join us too, that would be outstanding !! You know all the great spots ! I like Penn's Landing area. Have you ever taken your Mac down to Great Egg Harbor Bay, off Somers Point & Ocean City, NJ ?

Lucky YOU !!! BUT, you don't have a LED Macgregor Sailboat Nightlight (BLUE) for your home, like I do !!! :P :P I have 2 (MINT) unused extras too & and they look fantastic even during the day ! :P If you want one I'll send it to you as a GIFT, reason being cause you keep your BLUE HULL looking so grand which motivates me to do the same. 8) Just PM me with your mailing address. The other extra I'm saving for DOUG. W... I have to contact him for his info too.

Frank that sounds like a plan if you want to come on down...There are even a couple of marinas down this way that you could slip for a overnight if you wanted to. If you plan this trip send me a personel message so we can coordinate with each other...
