UFlex steering

Post by bjmeunier »

Just completed the Uflex planetary steering system. It was quite a simple install, all you really need, that people might not have is a 3.25" circular bit. All told, the install took 1 hour 15 minutes and it's smooth as silk. I may have to take her back off the market... :) :) her steering has never been this easy. If you're thinking of doing the upgrade and need info or tips, hit me up... 8)

I havent seen too many suicide knobs on wheels...probably since you don't want to move the rudder that fast under sail, and we don't motor that fast either.....

Dawg......

Check out my mod, it also states a good reason(s) for having a "suicide" knob (PowerKnob).

Steering Knob also serving as a Kingpost
