My appoligies if this is redundant. I don't post much but, I look at this web site all most every other day. I did not see anything and when I did a search it came up with no matches.

There was a thread about what was happening at Kelly Hanson Marine but I think either one of the mods pulled it as it was getting a little bit testy...

or it was in the "Front Room" which only keeps threads for a while than deletes them...not sure how long.

Gone. I was in contact with a rep that was helping me find a part I needed and he indicated it was on the way out. There is a post confirming it.

I am sad to learn this, they provided me with great service and product! I know others were not as lucky! I dislike the fact we loose yet another buisness to this economy, especially those who supported the MacGregor platform!

It's a shame that those of you who ordered got nothing too, I hope you have satifactory recourse!

I actually ordered a few things and the service was good. It was at least 2-3 years ago - probably before they started having financial difficulty.

I think you are correct and I have previous bought head sail from them and tried to buy a Main with no results.
I have recent bought a Main with 2 top full battens and two reef points, the foot is loose and cloth material is 7 oz.
I bought it thru Judy that sells Hyde Sails and advertise on this web site.
I haven't launched the boat yet as I just received the sail ( Very well made) and planing a Keys trip for a 4-5 day cruise Dec. 28-Jan 2nd.
Will let you know how goes, Most would say 7 oz for our boats are over kill. Well I motor sail often due to light winds and hate a blown out main.

I heard from another member that there is a bankruptcy filing. If K-H owes you money you might contact the court in Denver.

If I purchased something from them and didn't receive it, I'd call my credit card and charge it back now. There is a time limit and if the merchant is in trouble the charge back might get dicey if you delay.

Folks, we have been asked by K-H personnel not to host discussions on this subject. I can just tell you that K-H is NOT in bankruptcy, nor have they been. They are simply no longer taking orders.

I hope something new emerges. I had good service from KH with the purchase of a jib sail and several other items. I've always appreciated that they dealt in items that were difficult or impossible to find elsewhere - like the musclehead mainsail - which I was hoping to purchase someday. I was also excited when Art announced the addition of a drifter/gennaker sail. Too bad it never came to be . For whatever happened, I wish them well.
