Re: What Did Santa Bring You This Year?
My admiral gave me a blank check for our trip to Strictly Sail in Chicago in the end of January!!!!!!
After informing her and thanking her for the gift, she said the blank check would be unsigned and not to any valid account...then mumbled something concerning my grasp on reality... Actually, she got us a really cool set of unbreakable glasses with the boat name etched on each along with a golden rod low voltage dehumidifier to replace the winter incandescent light bulb I normally hang in the boat!

Nothing related to sailing quite frankly but a brand spanking new wet suit to help me get through my scuba diving needs. I had some good one before but it gets a little too cold when diving a little too deep for comfort.
But nevertheless, a thicker suit is always better than nothing. Though a good new engine will be most appreciated in any case.

Re: What Did Santa Bring You This Year?
There's something I have been meaning to get for a while. It would be great for getting in the water with my little catamaran before the docks at the club go in and after - before the lake freezes. I have a shorty but it doesn't cut it.boege18 wrote:Nothing related to sailing quite frankly but a brand spanking new wet suit to help me get through my scuba diving needs.
